EyeCare America (ECA), a public service program of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, has helped over 1 million people since 1985 by providing information and no-cost medical eye care through a pool of over 7,000 volunteer ophthalmologists. EyeCare America has been recognized by four presidents.
